Above is the highway to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, it is the only city on earth where one is prohibited entry based on their religion.
Last Friday, Islamic countries including Saudi Arabia pushed through a resolution at the U.N. Human Rights Council urging a global prohibition on the public defamation of religion.
While the resolution mentioned no other religion except Islam, it also urges countries "to take resolute action to prohibit the dissemination of racist and xenophobic ideas and material aimed at any religion or its followers that constitute incitement and religious hatred, hostility, or violence."
Surely having an entire city that is completely off-limits to people due solely to their religious affiliation goes against the resolution passed by the United Nations.
"Will Saudi Arabia practice what they preach or will they become hypocrites?"
