In the last hour special forces have moved in on the Lal Masjid. Intense cross firing between the Law Enforcing agencies and students of mosque has been started and the explosions have rocked the Islamabad according to Metroblogging Islamabad.

According to our sources in Islamabad, tensions continue to dangerously mount as the crisis is further prolonged with opposition parties now openly denouncing the use of military force on the Pakistani girl students in the mosque.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, said it was another example of Musharraf's misrule. "No one could be pleased by this game of blood and fire and every citizen appears deeply concerned on this state of the affairs taking place in the federal capital"
