Today

Forgive me for not updating the last few days.

I received an email just a short while ago that my father has passed away.

I'd like to write something but I'm going to need a little while to get my thoughts together.

I wasn't able to be there in his last hours - It hurts.

I wasn't prepared for this and need to go home now. The trip from Malaysia to Texas is a long one.

If you feel you want to contribute, it would be much appreciated. You can do so through my blog here or you can email me for other options.

Thank You.

  3. Normally I don't like to delete comments. I feel that it interferes with the free flow of ideas and so naturally it goes against my grain. There are rare times though when the comments are so utterly rude and contemptible that we have no other choice. Such was the case today.

Typically, such comments as the one I deleted are made by anonymous posters who probably have no idea they are not as anonymous as they think they are.

I'll leave it to everyone's imagination as to what was said. You can most likely imagine anyway.

  6. I just got pinged on FR prayer list.
I am sorry about your dad's illness and death.
But I will remember him and you in my rosary tonite.
I've read your blog in the past...
And I will pray for the bigot who is posting nonsense posts too...

  8. Dear Lao,
I know it hurts, I too experienced the loss of both my parents. I too was not there when they passed away. My deepest condolences to you and your family. May the Lord bless them and may they rest in peace.
