The Balkanization of America

I just visited Houston, Texas recently and was surprised (or rather shocked) to see that even the menus in restaurants such as IHOP are both in English and Spanish. I was even told that there are several restaurants in Houston where if you don't speak Spanish then you simply won't get any service. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the least bit xenophobic, it's just that the dramatic changes in my hometown caught me a bit off guard. You see it's been a few years since I was last in the United States and each time I return I find myself amazed at the sociopolitical changes.

On more than one occasion while I was there I didn't recognize what was being said around me and was actually a bit surprised at how many people were speaking Spanish in their dealings instead of English. I went to one store near the downtown area and found myself ignored by the Spanish speaking sales staff as they continued to help the Spanish speaking people around them. I stood there waiting and then eventually just gave up. But what was even more disturbing about the whole thing wasn't the Spanish speaking, it was that there seemed to be a sense of arrogance and what can perhaps best be described as an "ethnic chauvinism" among the Spanish speaking people that was never there before. It was as if they didn't care anymore or were not concerned to assimilate, to learn English or even to speak English, but even then, it was deeper than that, many seemed to harbor a sense of grievance that despite being nurtured by well-meaning federal policies of positive discrimination gave rise to an indescribable feeling of tension that seemed to be omnipresent everywhere I went.

For the first time in my life I felt like I was in a foreign country by returning home, but even that is not really accurate... You see if I would have went to Mexico instead of Texas, the Spanish speaking people there would have at least try to communicate with me and serve me. They would have smiled and made an honest effort to speak English and the banks and shops in Mexico would have gladly accepted my US passport as an ID. But in Texas this time things were disturbing different.

But overall, what I've found most disturbing is the Balkanization of the United States or as it is known by is politically correct euphemism "multiculturalism". You'll have to forgive me, but having lived overseas for as many years as I have, I never received the diversity is strength memo, and if I did, I would have promptly thrown it in the trash where it rightly belongs. There is no strength in diversity and I'm confounded at how Americans could have ever willingly bought into that nonsense. What did it take? Was it the the fear of being labeled an intolerant bigot or of being politically incorrect that somehow collectively coerced all of you into this accepting this mind-numbing mantra as gospel?

Take a cue from a country like Singapore who had to learn the hard way about the wondrous glories of diversity and multiculturalism. A country who was forced to adopt Draconian laws limiting freedom of speech just to ensure ethnic and religious harmony and who has spent countless millions over the years on government propaganda directed at their own citizens extolling nationalism and unity over diversity. Funny how there is no mention of how "diversity is strength" in this little ditty penned by Singapore's Ministry of Information, Communication & the Arts entitled "We are Singapore". Is this what we want for the United States?

How long will it be before these ethnic and racial enclaves that are being nurtured like unhatched chickens begin to poke their beaks through the shell? I fear it won't be long now. From having lived in a multicultural society, I can say from personal experience that rising ethnic chauvinism among immigrants both illegal or legal is not only a warning sign, but is is the ultimate destroyer of peace and harmony and when the winds shift it will get bloody. When that happens there will be two paths for Americans to take and both of them will be unpleasant. Either Americans will stand up and fight for liberty and freedom or they will have to accept certain restrictions to liberty and freedom in order to keep the peace.

Alien Nation

It has been three years since I've last traveled back home to the United States. My trip has been a somber one, but also one of great comfort. Despite the circumstances of my trip, I've had the opportunity to meet friends and relatives, many of whom I have not seen for several years.

The comfort and joy of returning home would slowly dissolve upon discovering that I've returned to nation that has become almost unrecognizable. The hope, optimism and pride of a nation seems to have been replaced with a growing sense of despair and hopelessness. Wherever I go there seems to exist a profound and unavoidable sense of malaise. Once proud patriotic citizens have been demoralized by the relentless prolonged siege from the enemy within and from a government that continues to enable those who would seek our demise.

Just how bad have things become? An experience of mine from last week provides an illustration of just how demented things have become.

Last week I went into small Texas bank here in my family's hometown to open a bank account. I took with me my US passport, my birth certificate and my social security card. Glancing over my photo passport, the bank manager of First Bank & Trust East Texas politely told me that they could not accept my US passport as a primary form of identification, and therfore I would be unable to open a bank account. My birth certificate and social security card were equally deemed by the bank to be useless forms of personal identification.

My initial shock and disbelief though would be replaced with outrage when I found out what the bank would accept as a primary form of identification. Among the list of approved primary forms of identification accepted by the bank was the Mexican matricula consular card.

First Bank & Trust East Texas wouldn't accept a US passport issued by the United States Government as a primary form of identification, but they will readily accept a Mexican matricula consular card issued by the Government of Mexico as a primary form of identification!

My telephone call later to the bank's head office in Diboll, Texas expressing my outrage that a form of identification issued by the Government of Mexico would be accepted, and that a passport issued by the United States Government was rejected, was pretty much met with contempt and unconcern. When I explained that my United States passport has been accepted as a form of identification in various other countries around the globe, the response was "I'm sorry sir, but that's our bank's policy, we no longer accept United States passports as a form of identification"

Where is the outrage, and at what point do Americans and Texans take their country back?

In my opinion, a Texas bank that would spit on the United States and on American citizens and then embrace foreign nationals like this deserves to be shut down and have it's banking license revoked out of nothing more than principle. The directors of this bank and anyone who would dare stand in the way or impede justice being delivered deserves to be tarred and feathered.

The Making of an Al Qaeda Operative

On 11 September 2001, America came face to face with the reality of what 19 men could do by taking advantage of our nation's lack of resolve in enforcing our nation's immigration and visa policies. It would seem that in those six years we have learned nothing. Emboldened by our lack of resolve in enforcing our own nation's laws, the flood of illegal immigrants and invaders continues to this day unabated.

In my many years as an American citizen living overseas I have come across countless immigration scams designed to get foreign nationals in the United States. Many for the sole purpose of conducting criminal activity with much of it related to either drugs or prostitution. Many of the scams are quite sophisticated in nature, but what they all share in common is that they take advantage of loopholes and/or the lack of enforcement in our nation's own immigration policies to achieve their objectives.

The most common scams involve bogus marriages or various visa scams, such as the use of supporting documents from American companies or American owned businesses overseas that are used to obtain visas under false pretenses. It needs to be noted though that all of these scams, regardless of their type, require the assistance of American citizens. Without the assistance of compliant Americans none of these scams would ever come to fruition.

In the course of conducting business overseas, it is not uncommon at times for Americans and other Westerners to find themselves the recipients of various unsolicited offers and pleas of assistance in obtaining visas, and some might even find themselves induced into committing what they consider to be a victimless crime in the course of trying to help a foreigner get a visa to the United States. Being duped or induced though is one thing, but even more disturbing is that over the last several years, there seems to be a dangerously increasing number of Americans who have taken it upon themselves to justify their actions by viewing at our nation's laws through the 'lens of subjectivity'.

When our nation's own leadership chooses to embrace the subjectivity of arbitrary governance over the rule of law is it any wonder that a large portion of our own population might follow suite and come to their own conclusion that the rule of law implies with it no objectivity?

Rarely will our adversaries overseas masterminding the infiltration of our borders reveal their real intentions or the circumstances involving their human cargo and will instead attempt to gauge the patriotism of the individual by asking seemingly benign and innocuous questions like "Do you support Bush?" or if you agree with your nation's foreign policies. The purpose of this line of questioning is to determine whether or not you would be willing to betray your own country and the challenge for our adversaries is to see whether or not you can be duped into doing it unknowingly. If it's found that your ideological standing leans to the left and it is emotion and subjectivity view of the law rather than logic and reason which compels you, then the play on your sympathies begins in earnest. Needless to say, a moonbat suffering from "Bush Derangement Syndrome" who believes that 9/11 was an inside job and that the United States is the source of all the world's ills is a prime candidate overseas for this type of psychological subversion.

Two years ago I happened to meet a fellow American in a hotel lounge in Singapore. New to Southeast Asia, the poor fellow had discovered "oree-enul wimmin" and was now suffering from a particularly bad Thai strain of yellow fever. Anyone familiar with the pathology of this dreaded disease knows full well the high probability that you might end up going bankrupt before you finally manage to discover the cure. Sitting at the bar and drowning in his own lamentation, I offered to buy Steve a beer. The advanced stages of yellow fever had taken their toll on Steve and despite the fact that he had lost his wife back home, he was still upbeat and told me how the month before he had made US30,000 just by helping a few Pakistani guys get some visas so they could travel overseas to inspect some textile machinery.

When I asked Steve why these guys didn't get their own visas and why they were willing to pay him for his help he jumped and went into a long winded rant about George Bush, Guantanamo, racism and that "9/11 thing". Over another beer, Steve would ask me if I saw the movie Fahrenheit 911 and then proceeded to explain to me how Bush and Blair were bombing non-white countries. These people that Steve was helping were honest businessmen who had been victimized by the foreign policies of Bush and Blair, their only crime according to Steve was that they were non-white. It was no point arguing with Steve, he had convinced himself that his actions were not only moral but justified.

Over the next few months, I would come to learn that Steve had become much more than just a "useful idiot", he became an instrumental player in something much more insidious, a highly sophisticated human smuggling ring with terrorist connections in Pakistan and a web that extends from Southeast Asia and the Middle East to Central and South America.

My attempts later to bring information regarding this human smuggling network to the attention of State department officials in the region would be met with disdain and indifference. One official told me point blank "That is not within our jurisdiction, there is nothing we can do.", a visit to our embassy would have me subjected to a body search and "vetted out" by a haughty pimply faced twenty something "security official" in country for no more than three months who was more concerned with my motives than with the information I held. In fact, he wasn't concerned or even interested in the information at all. Disgusted and humiliated, I left without saying anything and wondered to myself why the hell I had even bothered to take time off from work.

That same year, Pakistanis would represent a staggering figure of over 50% of the individuals caught at our border who came from nations where terrorism thrives. A total of 101 Pakistanis would be caught by border patrol agents attempting to cross our southern border from Mexico. And that is just the ones we caught. Estimates are that only ten percent ever caught putting the figure who managed to infiltrate our border in one year alone at over 1000 Pakistanis.

Al Qaeda and the world know fully well of our porous land border and the lack of resolve we have in securing it and our day of reckoning is coming soon. This time around we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

America's Surrender of Sovereignty

No border, no nation.
No nation, no citizenship.
No citizenship, no responsibility.
No responsibility, no law.

I can't imagine how it feels to be employed as a United States border patrol agent today but I can imagine that the morale is quite possibly at rock bottom. In the course of doing their job, border patrol agents have been imprisoned and presecuted and more recently have been spit on by an administration who quite clearly lacks the resolve needed in securing our nation's borders. More importantly, during a time when our nation is at war. It wasn't always like that.

As a child I can remember playing near the coastal fortification defenses on Galveston Island and during the summers I would spend time visting my uncle in Weslaco, Texas who worked with the border patrol. My uncle was a rough patriotic man, a gringo who spoke fluent Spanish, had a pistol in his boots and sported a scar on his cheek from a knife fight with a Mexican "coyote". He is gone now but if he was alive today he would be ashamed at our nation's lack of dignity and resolve in defending our sovereignty especially during a during a time of war.

Two years ago I would highlight how our enemies have been taking advantage of our lack of resolve in a post entitled "Al Qaeda Tours and Travel". I can report now that the only thing that has changed recently is that the pace has been quickened with more and more our enemies headed to the both our southern and northern borders in an effort to infiltrate our defenses.

We're racing toward unprecedented catastrophe worse than we could have ever imagined and one that could have fully been prevented if only we had the resolve to do what needed to be done. The solution was simple, deport those who have transgressed our nation's laws and seal the border. Deportation was and is the only solution, because it gives a clear message to the world that we are a nation of laws. Further, it would have discouraged those who would desire to capitalise on our nation's collective "conflict of conscience" that we seem to have in doing what is right and just rather than what is politically expedient. But now it seems to be too late.

Ironically, the billions of dollars we spend on military hardware won't serve to protect us this time from the determined enemy who was able to cross our border completely unhindered. Our sources tell us that Al Qaeda's plans are much more insidious that what was previously thought and that during the late summer of 2008 their intentions will be made painfully clear to us. Al Qaeda intends to influence our 2008 elections. Either the American public supports a "regime change" or we will face the "American Hiroshima".

Outfoxing America

Just over a year ago I wrote a post entitled Al Qaeda Tours and Travel, spelling out in clear painful detail exactly how Al Qaeda and other Muslim fundamamentalist groups get their foot soldiers into the United States. If you have not read it, I urge you to. You might be surprised to find out that a year later, it is business as usual, with the pace quickening and even more illegal invaders moving in through America's porous land borders.

Who is providing jobs for these individuals and financing them once they arrive in the United States. This investigative report dated 17 May 2006 entitled "Kingdom of the Illegals" might shed some more light on the picture.

Expect to read more details here in the near future as we attempt to track an upcoming movement of two Bangladeshis to the United States.

What I find disturbing, and so should you, it that it would take the issue of illegal immigration rather than the issue of national security to convince many Americans that our unsecured borders presented a problem. What many Americans fail to realize is just how serious the problem is and how Al Qaeda and their supporters have been actively infiltrating our borders since 2001.

America does not have a illegal immigration problem, it has a national security problem and a serious one to boot.

Brokeback America

Whether it is illegal immigrants and their supporters attempting to intimidate a populace into altering a nation's domestic and foreign policy or self-adulating homosexuals brazenly orchestrating a politically motivated hijacking of a children's celebration on a traditional holiday on the Whitehouse lawn, one has to wonder if America has simply lost it's backbone.

If you need anymore evidence of the painful demise of freedom and democracy in America and the recrudescent rise of ochlocracy look around you. Do you see liberty and freedom or just an endless neverending array of so-called minorities, "victims" and their lobbyists engaged in nothing more than a free for all? Some might call it "direct democracy", but in reality it has become nothing more than mob-rule.

Allowing ourselves to be coerced and intimidated into constantly rewriting and revising what our nation's "Principles of Democracy" are depending on whatever the sociological and politcial climate of the day is, our nation has lost track of what we as a nation truly stand for.

Reading through our State Department's website on the "Principles of Democracy" one might be led to believe that America stands for moral relativism, diversity and tolerance and that these are indeed principles of our republic. They are not.

But in recent years, the words "tolerance" and "diversity" have become the battle cry of communists, socialists and a plethora of international "human rights" and "civil liberties" organizations, apparatchiks intent on nothing more than coercing our nation into adopting their "new religion", one that history has shown us time and time again is incapable of preserving liberty and freedom.

For our nation's State Department to shamelessly quote the Socialist Mahatma Gandhi over our nation's own founding fathers represents nothing more than an unfathomable disconnect with the principles of which our great nation was founded.

At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on 18 September 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked "Well, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" to which he replied "A republic if you can keep it." The brevity of Benjamin Franklin's response should never underscore it's essential meaning, that liberty and freedom are nothing that we should take for granted and affirming that truism that freedom is not free .

The Invasion of America

The phrase "illegal immigrant" is nothing more than a euphemism for those who are in actuality nothing more than the participants of an illegal invasion.

If I rob a bank of it's money to feed my family, invest in the stock market or for that matter start my own business would I be called an "illegal entrepreneur" or would I be called a criminal?

And what if 10 million Americans decide tomorrow that they all want to rob a bank? Should they be given amnesty simply because of their sheer numbers?

There is no nobility in breaking the law. Not now or ever. Poverty has never been an excuse to break the law.

The only reason why this has become such a problem and is being debated has nothing to do with the crime. It's due to the sheer numbers of criminals or "illegal immigrants" who have invaded our country and the endless lobbying of those who benefit at the expense and safety of everyone else.

The solution to the problem is not rewarding criminal behaviour with any sort of amnesty or a guest worker program. The solution demands nothing more than the hard resolve of the American people. And it is simple.

Illegal immigrants regardless of their numbers should be all be deported... case closed. There is really nothing to discuss or debate about it. It is an open and shut case.

A Snickers bar and a bus ticket to Tijuana with the bill being sent to Vincente Fox. All American companies that hire illegal immigrants should be be fined punitively and severely so that to discourage those who enter our country illegally.

Simply put, if there are no jobs for illegal immigrants then there would be no illegal immigrants.

Al Qaeda Tours and Travel

If you have ever been to Southeast Asia you will notice that you are never far away from a money changer. They are everywhere, sometimes even two or three being located within a few meters of each other. There is one thing however that all the money changers in Singapore have in common, they are all Muslim. Rarely will you ever run across a Chinese money changer and there is a reason why. The majority of the money changers don't just simply change money, they also perform a remittance service known as hawala sending money around the globe but without ever actually transferring any money. Besides the changing money and hawala, there are a few others involved in something much more insidious, involving not the movement or transfer of money, but rather the movement of people.

Off Serangoon Road in Singapore away from the city center, there is a money changer who has a sideline business arranging for workers from the Indian sub-continent to be sent to America. In recent months, the business has been quite brisk and for the most part on any given Sunday you can pass through the area and notice several men hanging around waiting for their opportunity to go.

Throughout South and Southeast Asia the money changer has a network of agents located in countries in the region such as Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. These agents work for the most part, not as money changer themselves, but as money lenders and employment agents recruiting for jobs in America.

The offer is not only lucrative, but seductive as well. The Afghan or Pakistani goes to the agent and can receive a "loan" to pass to his family, a set of new clothes and be advanced airline tickets for Singapore where he will meet the money changer or his agent. In the past the Singapore agents would typically apply for visas directly from the United States embassy on behalf of their "worker" who would be travelling to the United States for a previously agreed upon reason that might include looking at equipment or meeting with distributors of textiles etc. Since 2001 the agents have found this method to be more difficult as there are now more stringent controls on the approval of visas. Having said that, much of the logistics have now shifted to Central and South America with the workers being flown there via the Middle East.

In support of militant Islam and groups such as Al Qaeda, these agents and money changers have now in recent years expanded their operations into Central and South America where they work together to their counterparts in Mexico who will assist in getting the workers across the border and into the United States. Once across the border and into the United States the workers will be met by yet another group who will then take charge of the workers and deliver them to their respective jobs.

By the time the Afghan or Pakistani finds himself in America, he will have been "advanced" and charged anywhere from US30,000-US50,000 for their transport, food, and sundry expenses. He and the others with him will be provided with housing and a job with the expenses for housing and his "advance" being deducted from his paycheck each month. Any remainder can be remitted (for a fee) through the agents and sent back to his family overseas.

While many in America tend to see this precarious situation as a human rights violation, they need to be fully aware that these illegal immigrants are not victims. They have consciously elected to become indentured servants and have given their full faith and fealty to their agents and handlers. Whatever "work" that they may be required to do whether it be legal or illegal will be done and done without question. As difficult as it may be for many to accept, the threat we face is real. An army in the service of militant Islam is flooding across our nation's land borders completely unimpeded.

The solution to the problem is simple and the onus lies with no one except ourselves. Close the borders and close them now. Our nation's national security depends upon it.

Malaysia Deals with their Illegal Immigration Problem

It was back in 1988 while I was in Singapore that I made my first trip to Malaysia. It was just across the causeway into Johor to visit a Singaporean friend's tropical fish farm.

The journey there was eventful, finally getting out of the city-state of Singapore and into the jungles of Malaysia. I asked if we would see any monkeys on the way, and sure enough we did, a whole family of them blocking the road. It took about two hours to get there and, here it was, not really much to see, a fairly large run down house on about 10 acres of land surrounded by huge pools of water and each pool with an aeration pump whirring away. The pools also had a few wooden planks extending out with nets attached to them. Inside the pools were a few different types of tropical fish including black mollies and golden swordfish. Fish are packed up in plastic bags once a week and then sold to another company that exports them to countries throughout the world. A nice little business, but it requires land and a lot of workers. The workers are Indonesian, not because they are fantastic workers, but because they are cheap, very cheap earning not much more than US100 dollars a month and sleeping in a small bunkhouse made of plywood.

There was not really much to see and after a while I wandered around the fish farm and noticed a twisting brackish river bordering the back of the property. I went back up near the house and asked my Singaporean friend if he had any fishing line and a hook. So I managed to get a tree branch, some fishing line and a hook and went out back to see what I could catch. My friend followed me out to see what I might catch as well. It didn't take long before the hook got stuck on the bottom and my fishing adventure came to abrupt halt. So Im trying to gently tug at the line without breaking it hoping to get the hook free when my friend calls over one of the Indonesians and asks him to dive in and unhook the line. This river is completely overgrown, dangerous, full of snakes and God knows what else and my friend asks one of the Indonesians to dive in. I protest to my friend and tell him to forget it and he nonchalantly explains to me that he only has one hook but that he has several Indonesian workers.

That experience years ago left a lasting impression on me and helped give me some insight into how foreign workers are viewed over here.

And so now, the Singapore Straits Times is reporting that Malaysia is facing a virtual shutdown after sending back hundreds of thousands of illegal Indonesians recently. Complete hyperbole from the Singapore Straits Times but typical and to be expected. You could say the Singapore Straits Times is representative of many Singaporeans who they themselves regard Malaysians as just barely above Indonesians intellectually. Singaporeans in general think of themselves as intellectually superiour to not only Indonesians and Malaysians but to all the Southeast Asians.

The so-called cheap foreign labor is nothing more than modern day slavery. Southeast Asia's dirty little secret and one of the main reasons they can flood the USA and European markets with cheaper priced items.

There is no "shutdown" here in Malaysia, no one is starving. What Malaysia is doing is simply dealing responsibly with an illegal immigration problem that has got out of control and prosecuting those involved. It is only natural that unscrupulous companies and individuals would attempt to use this situation to immediately hike prices and then blame it on the lack of illegal workers.

It's not that no one wants the slave labour anymore. They just want it regulated. ;-)
